1. Who we are
Battle Crunch Maths is published by Cross Cloud Partners ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app handles and why.
2. What we do NOT do
- We do not show advertising.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
- We do not sell or share your data with data brokers.
- We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
- We do not ask children for an email address, a password, or a date of birth.
3. An account is required to play
Playing Battle Crunch Maths requires an account. The account is held by an adult (the parent or teacher) — that person provides an email address and a password, and is the only person who signs in.
4. Where your data is stored
Your progress is stored on our server, not on the phone or tablet. This is what lets a child pick up where they left off on a different device, and it is what keeps one child's records separate from a sibling's on a shared device.
What we store on our server for each account and its profiles:
- The account's email address and a securely hashed password (never the password itself).
- For each child profile: a display name, an optional picked avatar, and an optional grade or age range.
- Each profile's game statistics, practice records, coins, badges, ranks, streaks, chosen theme and friends list.
- Match and classroom-race records when playing online.
The app itself keeps only what it needs to stay signed in on that device: your sign-in token, the notification token issued by your device, and whether you turned on biometric sign-in. No child's progress is kept on the device.
All data travels over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and is used solely to provide the game. It is never used for advertising or tracking.
5. Child profiles and children's privacy
Battle Crunch Maths is built for primary-school children, so we treat children's data carefully and collect as little of it as possible.
- Children do not have accounts. A child never creates a login, never has a password, and never enters an email address. The parent signs in and the child simply picks their profile.
- We ask for a display name and, optionally, a grade or age range — nothing more. We deliberately do not collect a child's date of birth, email address, phone number, or home address. A display name can be a nickname; it does not have to be a real name.
- The parent is in control. Profiles are created, edited and deleted by the account holder, from inside the app.
- No advertising or tracking, ever — including on child profiles.
If you believe a child has provided personal data you would like removed, delete the profile in the app or contact us and we will delete it.
6. Photos
If you choose a profile picture or wallpaper, the app accesses only the image you explicitly pick from your photo library and uploads it so it can be shown across devices. We never browse your library.
7. Face ID / biometrics
Biometric sign-in is optional and handled entirely by your device's operating system. We never see or store your fingerprint or face data.
8. Push notifications
If you allow notifications, we may send battle invites or reminders. You can turn these off any time in your device settings.
9. Deleting your data
You have two levels of deletion, both available in the app:
- Delete a child profile — permanently removes that child's records: their statistics, practice history, coins, badges, ranks, streaks and preferences.
- Delete the account — Settings → Delete Account & Data permanently removes the account and every profile under it, together with all of their data.
You can also request deletion at our deletion page. See our Account & Data Deletion page for details.
